Survivors of Suicide Memory Garden
The Survivors of Suicide Memory Garden in Cofrin Nature Park, Gainesville, Florida is intended as a place of comfort, meditation and healing for those who have lost a loved one through suicide.  The purpose of this space is to provide solace and peace to those who have experienced this loss though anyone can take in the beauty, comfort, healing and reflection offered by the garden.
Cofrin address is 4810 NW 8th Ave, Gainesville, FL

bulletFlorida has the 3rd highest number of suicides in the Nation and ranks #24 highest rate of all the states [2015].
bulletFlorida has almost more than three times the number of suicides than homicides [2015].
bulletEvery 30 seconds someone in the U.S. attempts suicide; Every 11.9 minutes someone in the U.S. dies by suicide.  Each person who dies by suicide leaves behind an average of six loved ones or survivors (estimate) [2014].
